Over the years, I have been involved with a number of websites. Here is a list of those I still remember.
Some of these pages may be in different stages of decay or been altered and redesigned since my involvment. Please bear that in mind.
»QigongRaum«is a lean website for Martha Maria von Hugo’s Qigong lessons. The realization in WordPress is very straightforward, without any fancy features. What really brings the site to life is the nicely shot and montaged background image by Jan von Hugo. |
»Chalet Sunnehang«is a small, no-frills website that I did for a friend of mine and his chalet in Switzerland. It runs a WordPress platform with mininmal plugins and a slightly customized theme. |
»Zoon Politikon — Werkstatt für Politik & Wirtschaft«Until we have an official logo and a well-conceived corporate design, we keep our presence in the internet as »undesigned« as possible. ZP runs a WordPress platform with an imageless twentyeleven theme. The only extravagance is PT Sans via Google Web Fonts. |
»Nepalisches Honorargeneralkonsulat Köln«The homepage for my father’s consulate was among my first real web design projects. I did a badly necessary redesign a few years ago, migrating the page to a WordPress installation and giving it a clean, slightly customized theme. The highlight of this project is the random flickr slideshow that I improvised to make the page a little bit more vivid. |
»MikrofinanzWiki«I spent several part-time months implementing this website in Drupal, battling with modules and plugins to hack in wiki-like functionalities and a lightweight social community (with varying success). Since my community-based concept was given up in favor of more controlled content, the administrators have moved it to a different CMS and changed the design a little. However, my basic concept is still visible. |
»Lahure Kitab | Edition Kathmandu«Back in 2005, realizing a unique-looking design and implementing a webshop was a headache-inducing hassle with Joomla (the best shot back then). As technology progressed, we have since migrated to WordPress and switched to a cleaner look. |
»AMG Bensberg«Today, my highschool’s website with its über-cool looking WordPress theme is obviously an important information hub for the school family. Funny to think that it was my friend Peter and me who started it all, with a small HomepageTeam and a selfmade CMS. However, our traces are still well visible in the content structure and — oddly enough, in the ugly favicon that I created in some favicon generator as a temporary solution. Almost ten years ago. |
»NGO Forum Nepal«Created during the heydays of my PHP-coding times, this website is run on a 100%-custom built plattform with an internal (if a little crude) CMS. The design may be a little outdated by now, but apparently the page is still in use. |
